In this episode I talk about how to counter stress and anxiety with evidenced based solutions. Learn about tools to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and mitigate sympathetic overload and bring about more calm, focus and improved wellbeing.  By knowing what goes on in your brain and understanding how to move it  towards balance you'll be better equipped to handle the problems and obstacles we all face in life. When you keep in mind most of us are prone to catastrophize or predict a certain amount of doom when faced with uncertainty, obstacles or problems, you'll be better prepared to respond and think in ways that won't sound the fight or flight alarm. When you discover what behaviors increase risk of anxiety, worry, depression and health complications you'll be better set up to adopt a lifestyle leading to more emotional and physical health.  As always, nothing in this episode is medical advice and always consult your doctor before making any dietary or exercise changes.
